ABOUT HANNAH

Hannah is a freelance illustrator and costume designer working out of her studio in Hampshire, UK. 

Game concept art originally inspired her passion for illustration and design, which later became heavily influenced by Art Nouveau and the work of Alphonse Mucha. She is best known for creating elaborate costumes designs for pop culture characters, many of which have been cosplayed by hundreds of fans around the world.

How I learned to Draw

I am entirely self-taught and have been drawing consistently since the age of seven. I enrolled on a fashion and textiles course in college, then attended a fashion design higher education degree at university. Mostly, it has been practice and trial and error!

My Inspirations

While my style has changed over the years, my inspirations stay mostly the same: anime, manga, Japanese culture, Art Nouveau, high fashion (Marchesa, Elie Saab, Dior, Ziad Nakad) and historical costuming.  

Commissions

I am not currently taking commissions.

Media & Collaborations

Hannah has been fortunate enough to guest at conventions such as London Film and Comic Con and Japan Expo Madrid. She has worked with cosplayers Yaya Han and Ginny Di, and featured in magazines including The Cosplay Journal and Cohaku Magazine.
